I had the privilege of creating two new wedding officiant websites this season.
The first one was for Wayne Laurie of Mountain Peak Weddings. Wayne operates a ministry that includes officiating weddings. His connection to the Okanagan through his years of service in ministry have made him a sought after officiant.
More recently I completed Okanagan Weddings, for Anthony Hoek. This fresh update on his old website should improve his standing for the next season.
St. Paul’s United Church in Kelowna, BC has begun an exciting development project called The Sanctuary. It will house approximately 30 residential units, commercial spaces below and a brand new worship centre. The project is well under way and a new website is in development at The Sanctuary Kelowna.

I got the opportunity to create a new WordPress powered website for Dynarep Sales Group Inc., a really neat sales and marketing company that focuses on street lighting products for cities and developers. The site features a nice home page slider, their line card, and a tidy contact page.
There are also several large image galleries of their products; which include decorative street lights, bollards, sports lighting (and netting), urban clocks, and even urban Christmas decorations! They also offer site amenities such as park benches, trash receptacles and more.
It was a privilege to be able to create this new website and work with their awesome staff.
The most major is my new theme! I have created a child theme using the Thematic WordPress Framework. I call the theme “tuxedo” (the original theme was in black and white and it looked sort of well… formal) and I’m also offering it for free download!
Secondly, I have added three free offers in order to gain more client leads and interaction, and to build up my portfolio of work. I hope with the SEO work that I’ve been doing and some other promotional work I will begin shortly, I’ll also begin to rank higher for the keyword phrase SEO in Canada.
If I can climb to page one for these terms, then it should just be a matter of tweaking my website to get the best possible conversion rate. In this way I intend to garner projects by way of these targeted leads. I’ve always believed in the power of organic search engine optimization – for many reasons. I’m now putting that to the test going up against as many as 150 other web pages for these terms!
